Hi! My name’s John Turner. Nice to meet you.

I enjoy making infrastructure as boring as humanly possible for software engineers who shouldn’t have to care. This is a surprisingly difficult problem. I also enjoy making software engineering more about the humans that write it than the artifacts that we produce. This is unsurprisingly an even more difficult problem.

I currently write code and words for Squarespace as a Senior Software Engineer.

When I need a break from computers, I listen to and play metal music, cook things, and read books of the comic and non-comic variety.
